TARGET PAST AND NEW CLIENTS WITH THE HELP OF DESIGN CENTER

Are you using Design Center to its full potential? An effective but often overlooked area of Design Center is under the ‘Campaigns’ tab. Here, you can automate prospect and client communication; set up an email list and send multiples messages over a specific period of time.

If you’re a veteran agent with a ton of contact information that has gone adrift, this may be your chance at lead redemption! For example, targeting buyers that you represented in the 2006-2010 timeframe (around 10 years ago) who may be considering buying a newer home. Let’s dive a little deeper into some other business opportunities, like past clients that bought at the height of the market and paid super high retail for their properties and are now looking to capitalize on the seller’s market we are in. You have the information they need, so what’s stopping you from reaching out?

Reach out to past clients with the use of a campaign in Design Center.

In a few easy steps, you can easily reach out to past clients. See below for everything you need to know!

  • You will need your clients organized in a CSV file with their first name, last name and email address which can be done easily in Excel or Google’s Numbers.
  • Once in Design Center, click on Contacts, and then Import Contacts.
  • Once you’ve uploaded your contacts to Design Center, choose a campaign to send them to. There are various predesigned campaigns available already, including a “Seller Prospect” and “Downsizing” one.
  • Keep in mind is that it costs three cents to send each email, but even one lead-listing makes it totally worth it!

If you are little newer to the real estate biz, follow the same guidelines, but in your case, rather than reaching out to past clients, you could create an email list of people that may want to sell in the near future. Think of people that you know that have been in their home for a number of years, have a had major life change recently (babies, divorce, death, newly married) and add their emails to the file.

When you utilize Design Center this way, you’ll be well on your way to beginning your very own Real Estate database and building a clientele! Don’t let emails go linger, use them and gain listings; it’s easier than ever – add them to your campaign list and reel them in!
